1. NBA 2K22 for Windows
Take control of your basketball career
NBA 2K22 is a basketball simulation video game that lets you craft your own NBA gameplay experience. Developed by Visual Concepts, this is the 23rd installment in the highly popular NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K21. It brings back beloved features from previous titles, such as the MyCAREER and MyTEAM game modes.
Like the rest of this franchise’s games, NBA 2K22 retains popular playable characters and features that let you streamline your fictional NBA career. Additionally, it lets you play as a team manager. This game has three editions available, differing in prices and bonus sets.
What is new in NBA 2K22?
NBA 2K is a series of basketball sports simulation video games developed and released annually by Visual Concepts and 2K Sports. Each game in the series emulates basketball—or rather, the real-life National Basketball Association and its competitions. Thus, you get to play as popular and legendary basketball players and even create your very own unique player. The games eventually developed different modes to keep interesting, as well.
In NBA 2K22, these return and give you another chance to conquer the court. MyCAREER is the main story campaign that includes cutscenes to make your story feel immersive. MyTEAM allows you to build your own dream team with any playable character. If you want to step away from the basketball gameplay, you can try out MyGM and MyLEAGUE which let you test your management skills.
There are three editions available for the game: Standard, Cross-Gen Digital Bundle, and the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition. Unfortunately, the Cross-Gen Digital Bundle edition and any crossplay or cross-progression between platforms aren’t available for PC. Desktop players won’t have access to the HD version of the game either, as this title’s focus is more on the performance of the console platforms.
Some platforms are lagging behind
All in all, NBA 2K22 still brings in some of the good features that fans have come to expect from the franchise—such as the chance to create the ultimate team and lead them to victory. However, not all supported platforms have been given equal attention. PC players can’t enjoy the high-quality graphics and performance of the game and any crossplay content on their consoles.

2. Football Manager 2021 for Windows
Take charge of your team’s future
Football Manager 2021 is a football management simulation video game wherein you can take charge of a football team from their humble beginnings to their greatest legacy. Developed by Sports Interactive, this sports game is part of the popular Football Manager franchise and is the successor to Football Manager 2020. There are new additions to the beloved features but it still retains the in-depth sports team-handling.
A more personal take
Football Manager is a series of football management simulation video games developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. Originally released as Championship Manager in 1992, it eventually received this re-branded title after Sports Interactive and the first publisher Eidos Interactive stopped their partnership. Rather than the direct football-playing found in the FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer franchises, you instead get to assist and manage football clubs here, cultivating their talent for their matches.
Officially abbreviated as FM21, Football Manager 2021 brings back the classic dynamic true-to-life manager experience. The game lets you have access to more than 50 countries and 2,500 football clubs—all at various different levels. You can pretty much customize your team, honing them to become better players at the sport. You also have your backroom staff, who will assist you in analyzing the player market to snag the best assets.
Not only do you oversee your team’s training, but their playstyle during matches, as well. Additionally, you can make your manager days more in-depth by expressing yourself much better with Gestures and Quick Chats when talking to characters. For data analyses, Matchday stats help in making decisions for your team. Plus, you can relive great highlights from your campaigns and seasons with the new season review presentation feature.
Let your club grow
All in all, Football Manager 2021 is a great addition to this series’ line-up due to its massive improvements. The main issue that old fans usually have with it is its new interface design and FM21 can feel like just another polished FM20. However, both old and new players alike can find the new features to be handy and more meaningful for their football-managing experience so this is a recommended game to try out.

3. NBA 2K21 for Windows
The world-renowned sports game legacy
The world-renowned sports game series continues with NBA 2K21. This installment of the popular basketball game app will feature extensive improvements in its graphics and gameplay. It will also provide competitive and community online features, as well as deep and varied game modes. All of this is to provide players with a one-of-a-kind immersion into the NBA basketball and culture.
A mix of old and new
NBA 2K21 is the 22nd installment of the game series and the successor to the NBA 2K20. As with the past NBA 2k titles, fans can expect hardcore basketball simulation. You can play a typical basketball game by controlling an entire team or a player of your choice. The series emulates the National Basketball Association, so if you are a follower of the NBA games, you won’t have a hard time following the rules of the video game.
Of course, there will also be the game modes, which you can try if you want to break the monotony of playing the main campaign. Players can also build and boost the career of their chosen players with the MyCareer mode by participating in off-court activities. On top of that, you can play as a team manager and create your dream team in the MyTeam feature.
This game showcases improvements to make your gaming experience better. Among the things that fans can enjoy are the unbeatable graphic fidelity and the 2-second load speeds. There are also new gameplay features and effects, such as ray-tracing and shadow effects. The game even has expanded game modes and some competitive online features.
Mamba forever
Aside from new game modes and features, NBA 2K21 also pays homage to the legendary Kobe Bryant. All versions of the game will offer a special Mamba Forever Edition that honors the late NBA player and his pursuit of victory and legacy in the sport. This edition will include the Kobe Bryant Digital collection.
Inside the collection are the special MyPlayer Shoes and Jersey, and a sapphire Kobe MyTeam card. Players will also get virtual currencies, MyTeam points, MyTeam skill boosts, and MyTeam tokens. There will also be some promo packs and a Gatorade boost.
While Kobe Byrant will grace the cover of the Mamba Forever Edition, the standard version will be bannered by two of the best basketball players of today. Portland Trail Blazer’s Damian Lillard will be the cover of the current generation platform. Meanwhile, New Orleans Pelicans’ Zion Williamson will grace the next-gen platform.
Past, present, and future
For the 22nd title, NBA 2K21 has combined the past, present, and the future of the series. It still has some of the beloved features of the game, but it comes with improvements to level up the players’ experience. It also honors the late—and the great—Kobe Bryant, while presenting the current and the future stars of the basketball tournament. All in all, the game will cater to both long-time and new fans of the franchise.

4. eFootball 2022 for Windows
A new chapter for PES history
eFootball 2022 is a free-to-play sports video game wherein you can realistically play football to your heart’s content on a digital platform. Developed by PES Productions and published by KONAMI, this is the new branding for the popular Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) game series and features all-new systems to keep the gameplay as smooth and real as possible.
A rival to FIFA 22, eFootball 2022 features dynamic gameplay for one-on-one duels, team creation, game controls, and more. It also supports cross-platform play, allowing PC, mobile, and console players to go head-to-head—although the internet connections will largely influence the match progress.
Is eFootball 22 free?
eFootball—formerly referred to as Pro Evolution Soccer and Winning Eleven in Japan—is a series of association football simulation video games developed and published by Konami since 1995. As the longstanding rival to the FIFA series, it has spawned numerous main installments and spin-offs for various platforms and is the other football game juggernaut in the sports video game industry. Thus, every title that comes aims to top their year’s performance.
eFootball 2022, in particular, goes big for its features as it is free to play for its supported devices and has gradual releases of content to keep things fresh. It also allows cross-platform interaction so that different players all over the globe can match up with each other for some football fun—though their internet connections can still cause problems for that depending on its stability. The graphics have been improved, as well.
However, in terms of gameplay, things slow down much more. The game allows you to nimbly control the ball and decide the rhythm of one-on-ones on the field. This is thanks to the game’s version of Unreal Engine and its Motion Matching animation system. The AI behavior has been revamped, too, and you can see this when you build your dream team and use the authentic team lineups available in-game.
A treat for new and old fans
All in all, eFootball 2022 widens its target audience with the new features added to the franchise’s offerings. Not only is the gameplay much improved, but the business model it adapted makes it a much more flexible title for most players interested in football sims. Whether you’re a curious newcomer or a veteran fan, this is a highly recommended PES title to try out.

5. eFootball PES 2021 Season Update for Windows
An update for PES 2020 game
eFootball PES 2021 Season Update is a sports game application developed by Konami Digital Entertainment. This game brings back the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) as it celebrates 25 years. Here, fans can experience near, life-like soccer games.
Players should know that eFootball PES 2021 Season Update is not actually a continuation of the soccer game franchise. Instead, it is an update of eFootball PES 2020. With this, expect distinctly fewer new features. It even comes with the same graphics and controls as last year's game. However, it does improve some aspects, including player handle and added myClub content.
What does the game offer?
PES 2021 is the riskiest installment to the Konami football franchise. As mentioned, it wasn't actually a new game, but an update to the edition released last year. Similar to a remaster, this version comes with the same gameplay; there are no changes to the controls and the visuals of the game. There are also no new modes to this update, which might hurt the longevity of the series.
However, that doesn't mean that there is nothing to look forward to about this year's installment. Long-time fans will notice that the pace is a lot slower than the previous games. Players handle more responsibility, and everything feels more natural. PES 2021 also sees superstars mixing unique skills and tricks to explore different ways to attack. Something that the rival FIFA 21 struggled to match.
MyClub is essentially the same as before, which is a budget version of FIFA's Ultimate Team. However, it offers five special Club Editions, which provide instant access to iconic player moments, such as a young Messi or prime Dennis Bergkamp. Although, even with this new content, the game does not still hit the lofty heights of its rivals. The commentary needs a big revamp and loot boxes are still horrible.
Essentially the same game
Overall, eFootball PES 2021 Season Update lived up to its name. The game does not offer new modes, unlike the previous titles. However, it does bring gameplay refinement and fresh playability. If you are new to the franchise, this can be a good entry point. Although, it can be frustrating for long-time fans. Aside from a handful of updates, this is ultimately the same as last year's game.

6. FIFA 21 for Windows
Football simulator for Windows
FIFA 21 (FIFA 2021) is one of the most famous soccer simulators in the world. EA Sports publishes a new version each year with various tweaks and improvements. With FIFA 21, you can play in the stadium, on the streets, or try one of the other modes like Ultimate Team - FIFA 21 has more ways to play than ever before.
Compared to other football games, FIFA 21 is unrivaled when it comes to authenticity. You'll find 30+ official leagues, over 700 teams, and more than 17,000+ authentic players. The closest rival to the FIFA series of games is Pro Evolution Soccer which has more of an arcade feel to it and doesn't match the authenticity.
FIFA 21 gameplay features
In this latest installment, you'll find lots of new creative ways to perform when playing on and off the ball. The new Agile Dribbling system lets you get more creative when playing 1-on-1 situations. Achieve fast footwork using the responsive close control and take advantage of a whole new range of skills like the ball roll fake so you can get past defenders.
This time around, the in-game intelligence has received a boost so players can make improved positioning decisions. Your teammates and opponents will be better at making their runs at the right time and shutting down attacks just like a real player would on the pitch. You also have much more control breaking down defenses with three new creative runs: directed runs, directed pass and go, and player lock.
The enhanced collision system means when players bump into each other on the field, their reactions will be much more realistic instead of everyone falling over. Those critical moments like the goalmouth scramble or midfield battle for possession are more authentic and enjoyable when they occur.
EA has also made changes to the fundamentals of the games. Passing, blocking, responsiveness, and manual headers have all received improvements that raise the game's overall quality.
FIFA 21 Career Mode
Career Mode lets you take control of every aspect of your team as you try to reach the top of the league. With the Interactive Match Sim, you can enjoy the game in a whole different way by jumping in and out of the action when needed and making changes as the match continues. And with the Player Development feature, you have greater control over the training and development of your players, so you can create a team that matches your style and fix any weaknesses.
You also have tools like Match Sharpness and Active Training that give valuable insights into your squad's performance and let you set up specialized training to increase the chances your players will perform when it matters the most. You can even schedule when your players will train and rest to balance morale and fitness.
Finally, the transfer options offer even more realism so you can set up all kinds of deals and sign new talent for your team.
FIFA 2021 Ultimate Team Game
Ultimate Team Game is probably FIFA's most popular game mode. It lets players build their dream team while offering challenges and objectives to complete for rewards. By allowing you to combine players from different teams and nationalities, there are endless possibilities.
You can play Ultimate Team Game offline or online, by yourself or together with friends. This year, EA has streamlined much of the management side of things so you can spend more time playing on the pitch and less time managing your team.
FIFA 2021 VOLTA football
In FIFA 20, EA introduced VOLTA, a street football mode with smaller teams and lots of great features like customized gameplay, heaps of locations, cool gear, unique match types like VOLTA kick-off, VOLTA world, VOLTA Story, and VOLTA League. With FIFA 21, you'll find more ways to play with up to three friends, featured battles, and a special debut introduction to VOLTA with legendary players Kaká and Lisa Zimouche.
A welcome update
FIFA 21 may not bring ground-breaking changes to the series, but it introduces new features and improves upon existing ones. It can't be beaten when it comes to authenticity. If you've dreamed of having Eric Cantona, Zinedine Zidane, Pelé, Maradona, and Messie together on one team, you can in Ultimate Team.
If you prefer faster-paced games which require intense battling and dribbling while countering explosive attacks from the opposition, you can check out VOLTA for a taste of street football.

7. Riders Republic for Windows
Multiplayer action sports video game
Riders Republic is an extreme sports game developed by Ubisoft. Here, players can try an array of sporting disciplines on one platform. The game boasts an open-world map that features numerous real-world locations.
Unlike Steep, an action sports game previously released by the same developer, Riders Republic is not limited to snow sports. It blends events in snow, dirt, rocks, and forests. With this, you can try mountain biking, wingsuit flying, and rocket wingsuiting in addition to skiing and snowboarding. Be warned, however as the game can be a relentless barrage, constantly whisking you from one race to the next.
What is Riders Republic?
Ubisoft described Riders Republic as a massively multiplayer online sports game. Here, players can compete in various racing events. As mentioned, the game is set in an open world, which meshes seven distinct American national parks— Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Yosemite Valley, Zion, Mammoth Mountains, Sequoia Park, and Grand Teton—in one single map. Although, you cannot visit each place at once as you need to win races to unlock them.
More than a large selection of arenas, the game also brings in a new mode for the genre: Mass Race. In the game, more than 50 players can race each other. Not only that, but the game essentially married extreme sports with a battle royale, with the goal of becoming the best among the mass. The winners of these giant races will receive significant rewards and, of course, bragging rights.
Additionally, players can play a 6V6 competitive multiplayer mode named Tricks Battle Arena. Like Graffiti from the Tony Hawk: Pro Skater franchise, teams will perform tricks to secure points. There is also a career mode where you can earn brand sponsorships. Riders Republic also allows you to connect with other players through the social hub. However, you cannot play leisurely as the game forces you to participate in races.
Is the game good?
If you are a fan of extreme sports or open-world games, then Riders Republic will be right up your alley. The game app covers every action sport available. Moreover, it takes you to magnificent locations based on real life. You can even bond with fellow players. However, there is some fuzziness in the trick system that stops them from being satisfying. Additionally, the endless races can be taxing over time.

8. Dream11 for Windows
India’s top fantasy sports platform
Dream11 is a free fantasy sports game software that allows you to create your own virtual teams for various real-life sports. Created by the same developer of FanCode, this Indian application is designed for fans who’d like to make up their own dream teams and compete against each other in fan-created tournaments.
Aside from that Dream11 also gives you the opportunity to win prizes against other users and their own teams by joining the official contest categories. Take note, however, that this game involves an element of financial risk and can become addictive if left unchecked so please play responsibly.
Does Dream11 really give money?
A fantasy sport is a type of online game wherein you can assemble imaginary or virtual teams of real-life players of a professional sport. These virtual teams compete based on the statistical performance of those players in actual games—something that’s been coded into the game itself to give it more realism. With it, you can draft, trade, and drop players from your team.
This is the main feature of Dream11, wherein you don’t have to wait for any official matches between teams to see who will win. As a sports simulator, it also lets you see whether your choices can net you cash rewards from the game’s numerous contests. There are free and paid competitions available—although you’ll have to be 18 years old and above and pay a certain fee to join them.
Aside from betting, you can try being competitive in the daily leaderboard rankings, as well. You can even create private contests. The sports available are cricket, hockey, football, kabaddi, baseball, volleyball, handball, NFL, and basketball. To play, simply select a match, create your team, join a contest, and follow the match. Take note, however, that you can’t control or even see the players like in NBA and FIFA games.
Take your pick
All in all, Dream11 is a popular fantasy sports app for a good reason. Not only can sports fans try out any combination of players for their ultimate dream collaboration, but they can also test them in contests and win money by simply having a good eye for talent. While you’ll need to go through legal procedures in order to cash out, the app itself is free to download and play.

9. FIFA 22 for Windows
Play football like you’re living it
FIFA 22 is a football simulation video game that lets you play football or soccer in a more realistic setting. Developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts, this sports game is part of the FIFA video game franchise’ line-up for 2020 and succeeding years and adds more realism to the gameplay experience.
As the sequel to FIFA 21, FIFA 22 retains some of its predecessors’ features. However, it also adds new ones to elevate your football playing. Notably, though, the PC version doesn’t have the next-gen upgrades included on other platforms—allowing low-end PCs to run it smoothly.
Will FIFA 22 have World Cup Mode?
FIFA, also known as FIFA Football or FIFA Soccer, is a popular game franchise that releases annual titles to keep up with real-life changes in the football world—whether it’s about new and old players or teams competing in various tournaments. It’s considered one of the best-selling video game franchises around and includes games on single major tournaments like the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League.
This time, FIFA 22 brings back some of the beloved features from the previous titles. These include modes like Career Mode, VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs, FIFA Ultimate Teams, and World Cup. Some of these have been improved—like an all-new Create a Club experience for Career Mode, reimagined gameplay for VOLTA FOOTBALL, and the addition of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes. The goalkeeper system has also been completely rebuilt.
The game’s most awaited feature, however, is its new HyperMotion Technology. This allows high-intensity 11v11 matches to be captured realistically and fluidly as you play—with the AI creating new animations in real-time for a more immersive gameplay experience. However, with this high cost comes the lack of next-gen improvements on the game’s graphics, as the game opts to allow mid-to-low tier PCs to run it.
Playable for all
All in all, FIFA 22 still retains what made the previous games highly enjoyable and lets lower-end computers be able to play it without crashing. While this sacrifices the high-end graphics that the series is known for, the realism still doesn’t stop as it brings back beloved game modes and even implements a new machine learning algorithm technology for your gameplay.

10. Knockout City for Windows
Multiplayer dodgeball game
Knockout City is a sports game developed by Velan Studios, the team behind Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. It is a competitive multiplayer game that brings the recreational sport of dodgeball into the video game world. Here, you can team up with other players online and participate in a team-based brawl.
Tonally, it has the same wackiness of games like Fortnite or the recent Destruction AllStars. However, the distinction between the game and typical arena shooters is that Knockout City does not require precise aiming whatsoever. With this, mouse and keyboard players shouldn't have any serious advantage over other players.
How do your play Knockout City?
Knockout City is a team-based, competitive dodgeball game. Here, you team up with two or more players and bean your opponents to take them out. However, there is more to the game than simply pelting them with balls. For one, players can charge up their throws for faster and powerful shots. You can also use some fancy throws to confuse your opponents. Each player can take two hits before going down.
There are six different types of balls on top of the standard ones. You can use these special balls as weapons to take out your opponents easier. More than the balls, you can also tackle your opponents on the ground. You can even roll yourself up and become a ball yourself. The catch, however, is that by using a player as a ball, you risk enemies catching you or teammates.
Knockout City is an online-only multiplayer title, meaning there are no offline or single-player components available. It has six different modes, either 3v3, 4v4, or free-for-all. It also has five maps at launch, which are, conversely, far too large for 3v3 matches. Unfortunately for players, the game is not free. There are also no loot boxes, and the in-game store only sells cosmetic items.
Is the game fun to play?
For the most part, Knockout City is an enjoyable game. The inherent fun of dodgeball shines throughout the game, which makes it a genuine riot. Moreover, it comes with specialized balls, adding more spice to the match. However, the lack of voice chat makes the teamwork aspect a little harder. Nevertheless, it is a fun game that allows you to relive your childhood.
